9 Months

Tristan is nine months old!! His smiley face brings us all so much joy. He is at such a fun stage. We just had his 9 month Dr. appointment last week and he is doing just great. He is 19 1/2 lbs. and didn't gain much since his 6th month appt. which was surprising, he definetly feels like he weighs over 20. The doctor said his weight has slowed down since he is so active. That is the truth... He doesn't stop, such a busy body. He is in to everything!! In the last month he has learned to climb the stairs and started standing without holding on. He is very close to walking now. He gives kisses, high fives, and understands the word "NO". He hates to hear it, but it is so funny that he gets so mad. He has four teeth, two top and two bottom. I think he is still teething because the paper eating has not stopped. I have never heard of a kid that ate so much paper... toilet paper, boxes, books, mail, anything he gets his hands on that is paper will end up eating. He is finally taking longer naps during the day...I am so happy about this. The other day, we cleaned the house, showered and got ready all while he was asleep. It was so nice.
He loves to read books, bang on our laptops, go on walks, and loves when you get down to his level and play with him. He gets so happy when we crawl around and loves for us to chase him. I feel blessed to be able to stay home with him and experience every milestone.
