Beautiful Day at the Beach

We are loving this warm weather lately. We spent a few hours on Sunday at the beach. I wasn't sure how Tristan was going to react. We haven't been since January and back then, he wasn't too sure that he liked the sand all that much. This time was different. He LOVED it. He could have spent all day digging around in the sand playing with seaweed, rocks and other little things he would find. And then there was the water. We think we might have a little surfer baby. He crawled straight into the freezing water with out flinching. I myself couldn't stand with my feet in without going numb. The water was ice cold but this didn't stop him. I know that they are fearless at this age for the most part and that he was. We had such a great day. I have a feeling we are going to spend a lot of summer days at the beach.

First Haircut

This past Friday, Chris and I took Tristan for his first "real" haircut. We have been putting it off for weeks now. We were both a little worried to cut his adorable whispy locks but I was afraid that his hair would start poking him in the eyes so I wanted to give him a little trim. We asked the lady not too cut much off, needless to say, she took a little more than we wanted. We were both so sad when we left, it is so funny how something like this can affect you. Fortunately hair grows back and the next time, we will do things differently. He was such a good boy, there were other kids screaming their heads off but he didn't cry once. All he cared about was playing with the rocket ship and toys they gave him. He looks like such a little boy now.
